The combination of the Mirage M-3Si, Carver Receiver 900, and dual Fosi Audio ZA3 mono blocks can actually be a very strong setup.

Here’s why this combo works well:
The Mirage M-3Si is a large bipolar speaker that likes high current and good control, especially in the bass.
The Carver Receiver 900 has a warm, dynamic vintage sound and around 90W/ch into 8Ω.

The ZA3 mono blocks provide much more clean power and damping than the Carver alone, especially if using the 48V supplies. Each ZA3 in mono can deliver roughly 235W into 4Ω.
