Under the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment programme, a significant initiative was launched to support Emirati citizens in 2018. As part of this effort, over a thousand residential plots were allocated in the area of Wadi Al Shabak. The total land area covered by these plots spans an impressive 232 hectares, providing ample space for development. It is one of the few sites in Dubai where long-term camping is permitted.
