2010 Subaru Forester Premium | GCC | AWD | 2.5L | Extensive Maintenance History

Australian Owner.

Selling my 2010 Subaru Forester Premium, GCC specification, 2.5L Boxer engine (EJ25), automatic transmission and Subaru's Symmetrical AWD.

RTA inspection PASSED on 18 September – ready for immediate transfer.

The car has 249,000 km and has been regularly used and maintained. This is not being advertised as a perfect 2010 car cosmetically, but mechanically I have spent a significant amount keeping it properly maintained, with extensive invoices and service records available. It is mechanically perfect. The majority if mileage is high-way drives to RAK and Abu Dhabi.

A lower-mileage replacement engine was fitted by the previous owner several years ago. The car has been driven regularly for years since the replacement.

Recent maintenance / major work includes:

• August 2026: 10,000 km service completed, including oil/filter service. A/C evaporator replaced, system cleaned, vacuumed and re-gassed.
• May 2026: A/C compressor replaced, system cleaned, vacuum/pressure tested and re-gassed.
• September 2025: Engine oil/filter service and new AC Delco battery.
• April 2025: Both front lower control arms, both rear upper arms, both front shock absorbers, shock mountings/boots, both rear wheel bearings and wheel alignment.
• January 2025: Transmission/converter seal work, axle seals, differential/gear oils and wheel alignment.
• October 2024: Major maintenance including front brake pads and front disc skimming, axle assemblies, differential seals/oil, four Yokohama tyres, A/C system work and suspension/bushing work, plus engine oil service.
• Additional suspension, cooling system, differential and general maintenance carried out previously.

A lot of the expensive maintenance normally associated with an older AWD vehicle has therefore already been addressed during my ownership.

The Forester is a very practical car with plenty of interior and cargo space (I've had my surfboard and bike in the back with no problems), very good visibility and surprisingly pretty good on petrol due to the car not being too heavy despite it being an SUV.

Condition: Mechanically well maintained and drives well. The exterior and interior have some cosmetic wear consistent with the vehicle's age and mileage, including some wear to the leather - all can be seen in the photos. I have priced the car accordingly.

Extensive recent maintenance invoices are available for serious buyers to inspect, thousands spent to get the car mechanically A1 for my peace of mind.
