1969 Pontiac GTO

This is a real 1969 242 Code GTO (can be PHS certified) originally sold in Texas on January 21, 1969. The car has a period correct 400 cubic inch V8 engine and three speed GM Hydramatic transmission. It came originally with power steering, console, air condition, hood mounted tach and covered headlamps.
This vehicle was previously restored. The original colors of the car were Matador Red with gold interior. After the restoration the car was painted Carousel Red and finished with black on black interior. The engine was rebuilt and a performance cam shaft installed. A new air conditioner unit has been installed with a large aluminum radiator with electric fans. The front brakes have been upgrade to disc brakes. New Cragger rims and 235/60 R 15 radial tires are installed that look as sweet as the car.
This car drives fast and straight with good brakes. The interior was redone and soundproofing was installed on the floors. A new Retrosound stereo was also installed. The sound of this 400 cubic inch monster is what the muscle cars of the 60’s was all about.
The car was mostly stored covered and inside a warehouse since I imported the car into the UAE. There are some rust spots on the rear trunk as well as around the rear window.
Please note the Plate Number is not for sale with the car. Though separate arrangements can be made.
