BRITISH and GERMAN ENTHUSIAST OWNED RARE V12 TWIN TURBO

If you don’t recognize what this car is or the history I will detail below, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME. GENUINE ENTHUSIASTS ONLY!
This is NOT a recent import with questionable mileage and history, its an original European spec car that was cared for by 2 loving owners for the first 21 years of its life and then by myself for the last year and a half. Its also not an SL 320 or 500.
IT’S A 600 V12 TWIN TURBO.
The history file on this car is MASSIVE!! As you can see from the pictures, this also verifies the extremely low mileage. Every preventative maintenance has been addressed ahead of time.
I have reluctantly come to the decision to part with my beloved R230 SL 600.
I am the 3rd owner. I have owned it for 18months and loved every minute of it, previous owner 10 years, before that it was a diplomatic car in Czec republic so as you can imagine its had literally EVERY optional extra ordered.
The car has spent most of the last 12 years in a garage being only driven at weekends.
THE IMPORTANT PART.
The expensive things that can go wrong on these cars have ALL been addressed recently.
ABC suspension recently overhauled and calibrated plus fluid change.
SBC braking system recently overhauled and new fluid.
ABC suspension works perfectly, raises/lowers no issues.
Folding hardtop was completely overhauled, all pistons sent to USA and refurbished by “Top Hydraulics” and receipts available. The roof is also function tested every 2 weeks to prevent any issues.

THE REGULAR MAINTENANCE.
Recently serviced in January (Mobil 1) ABC and SBC fluid change. Always maintained at MAX garage and SILBER ARROWS
Tyres 2025 and have done less than 500km
brake disks and pads front and rear. Less than 500km covered.
New front battery in January
Front lower control arms replaced January.

THE SPEC.
If you know these cars then you will know the basic spec, however this particular example comes with added start button on gear knob which is fully functional so the keys can stay in your pocket.

Paintwork is detailed and protected regularly (my hobby!)

The faults
I am extremely fussy about my cars so I will detail the few minor imperfections just to be completely transparent as I have NOTHING to hide! My price is taking into consideration these issues so please no crazy lowball offers.. YOU WILL BE IGNORED!!
The soft close boot lid actuator has a slight leak and requires a basic sealing job. I could have simply pulled the fuse for 10mins and someone inspecting would never know as it holds air for about 2 days, but as I said…FULL DISCLOSURE! The boot still closes perfectly just without the soft close.

The passenger side vanity mirror in the sun visor is broken (replacements still available for cheap)

For the last 6 years the instrument panel low oil level comes on occasionally. The previous owner spent a small fortune trying to fix this but yet it remains to appear from time to time. The oil level has NEVER dropped and every year at service the previous oil is still exactly full proving that the issue is just an electronics glitch. To be honest its never bothered me so I have not tried to resolve it.

There is a small crack on the drivers door sill scuff panel. I caused this by kneeling on it during cleaning behind the seats.
Very small crack in front grill and lower front bumper

Occasionally the distronic radar cruise control stops working due to the big Mercedes badge on the front needing replacing.
Slight lacquer distortion on the 2 rear window side panels.
All this, however is myself being extremely fussy as the car looks and drives beautifully
