DESCRIPTION:
The 2023 M8 Competition is BMW's tour de force. It shows that BMW still has what it takes to make a beast of a performance car but one with satisfying comfort and luxury. It might not be built as an exotic from the ground up, but the M8 is able to deliver a supernatural driving experience. Hankering for a taste of the madness? (Hint: Yes, you are.) Set it to Sport mode, make sure the transmission is in its most aggressive setting, and Hulk-smash the brake first and then the gas. A notice flashes in the IP that launch control is engaged, and when you release the brake, the M8 smashes you back. The M8 is quicker to 60 mph than a 710-hp Ferrari 488 Pista.

The M8 Competition comes with a 617-horsepower turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. It's also fitted with an adaptive suspension and a sport-tuned all-wheel-drive system. The 617-hp, 2.5-second-to-60-mph M8 Competition makes us think the Bavarians may have finally come unhinged. EPA is rated at 21.5 mpg
