looking for an experienced and motivated Marine Supply Sales Executive to join our team in Dubai.
The candidate will be responsible for developing sales for ship chandling, marine spare parts, deck and engine stores, provisions, safety equipment, and other marine supply services. The role requires building strong relationships with ship owners, ship managers, vessel operators, technical superintendents, purchasing departments, and vessel captains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and approach new customers including ship owners, ship managers, vessel operators, shipping agents, technical managers, and procurement departments.
• Promote ship chandling services, marine spare parts, deck and engine stores, provisions, bonded stores, safety equipment, and technical supplies.
• Visit shipping companies, marine offices, port agents, vessels, anchorages, and shipyards to generate new business opportunities.
• Monitor vessel movements, port calls, and anchorage activities to identify supply opportunities.
• Receive customer enquiries and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to prepare competitive quotations.
• Follow up quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, vessel access, documentation, and customer requirements with the operations team.
• Follow up outstanding payments and support credit-control activities when required.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, quotations, and business-development activities in the company CRM system.
• Achieve monthly sales targets, new-account targets, and quotation-conversion targets.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ship chandling, marine supply, shipping, marine spare parts, freight forwarding, or B2B maritime sales.
• Knowledge of vessel operations, port procedures, marine products, and ship supply requirements.
• Existing contacts with ship owners, ship managers, shipping agents, or vessel operators will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is required.
• Ability to travel for client visits within Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, and other UAE ports.
• Self-motivated, professional, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
