Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and service-focused Senior Waiter / Waitress to join our team for the launch of our new restaurant project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service while also supporting the restaurant team and service staff during daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide attentive and efficient table service throughout the guest experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Have a good understanding of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Make appropriate menu recommendations and assist guests with their selections.
• Ensure food and beverages are served according to restaurant standards.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout service.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared during service.
• Process bills and payments accurately when required.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and daily restaurant preparation.
• Support and guide junior waiters/waitresses during service.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with maintaining service standards and smooth operations.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and presentation are maintained at all times.
• Work effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Japanese or Asian F&B operations is required.
• Previous experience as a Senior Waiter/Waitress or experienced Waiter/Waitress.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service and guest relations.
• Good understanding of Japanese/Asian cuisine is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Positive attitude and strong customer-service mindset.
• Ability to support and guide junior service team members.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Candidates available to join immediately are preferred.
