Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Restaurant Manager to join our team for the launch of our new restaurant project in Dubai. The successful candidate will take a senior leadership role in overseeing the overall restaurant operation and will be responsible for driving operational standards, FOH team performance, guest experience, and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the restaurant.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the front-of-house and service teams.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance, performance, and manpower requirements.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, food quality, presentation, and overall customer experience.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.
• Monitor daily sales, revenue, operating costs, labour costs, wastage, and profitability.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor food and beverage costs and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Review daily sales and operational reports and take corrective action where required.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Develop and implement restaurant SOPs, policies, and operating standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, food safety, hygiene, health, and safety requirements.
• Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, maintenance teams, and other external parties when required.
• Support marketing, promotions, events, and initiatives designed to increase sales and customer traffic.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Maintain a professional and positive working environment across the restaurant.
• Take ownership of the restaurant's overall service, operations, team performance, and commercial results.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Japanese or Asian F&B operations is required.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager with strong operational responsibility.
• Proven experience managing Japanese or Asian restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant sales, cost control, inventory, purchasing, and labour management.
• Proven experience leading, training, and developing a restaurant team.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple operational areas in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant profitability.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Candidates available to join immediately are preferred.
