Job Title: Butchery & Grill Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Butchery & Grill Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premium butchery and grill restaurant in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of meat products and grilling techniques, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving operational and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
• Oversee the daily operations of the butchery and grill restaurant.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Monitor restaurant performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations and municipality requirements.
Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen, butchery, service, and cashier staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development.
• Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
Butchery & Food Quality
• Supervise meat receiving, storage, cutting, portioning, and display.
• Ensure all meat products meet quality, freshness, and food safety standards.
• Monitor grilling procedures to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Work closely with chefs and butchers to develop new menu offerings.
Inventory & Cost Control
• Manage inventory levels and place orders with approved suppliers.
• Minimize food waste through effective stock rotation and portion control.
• Monitor food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
Customer Service
• Ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Build customer loyalty through outstanding service and product knowledge.
Financial Management
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, and profitability.
• Implement strategies to increase sales and achieve business targets.
• Control cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, Dubai Municipality regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety.
• Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications remain valid.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a butchery, steakhouse, grill restaurant, or premium meat retail operation.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, butchery operations, grilling techniques, and food safety standards.
• Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and food cost control.
• Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
