We are looking for an experienced and responsible Restaurant Manager to join our restaurant team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have strong restaurant management experience and good knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements, UAE food safety standards, and the rules and regulations applicable to restaurants and food establishments in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Supervise restaurant staff, including waiters, cashiers, kitchen staff, and other team members.
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high service standards.
Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and overall restaurant standards.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety requirements and restaurant regulations.
Maintain proper food-safety records, temperature records, cleaning schedules, and other required documentation.
Ensure staff follow proper food handling, personal hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency.
Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and purchasing requirements.
Control daily operational costs and minimize unnecessary wastage.
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve operational issues.
Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance and performance.
Train and motivate employees to improve service and productivity.
Coordinate with suppliers and ensure proper receiving and storage of food products.
Prepare daily sales and operational reports for management.
Ensure the restaurant is prepared for Dubai Municipality inspections and other relevant authority inspections.
Follow all applicable UAE labour, health, safety, food hygiene, and restaurant operating requirements.
Ensure all restaurant permits, approvals, certificates, and compliance requirements are properly followed in coordination with management.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Dubai/UAE.
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar position.
Strong knowledge of Dubai restaurant rules and regulations is required.
Good understanding of Dubai Municipality food safety requirements and FoodWatch/PIC responsibilities.
Dubai Municipality-approved food safety/PIC certification will be an advantage.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory control, and cost management.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Must be professional, reliable, hands-on, and able to take responsibility for the restaurant's daily operations.
