Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Front of House Assistant to manage the day-to-day
operations of our food court outlet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent
customer service, handling orders eﬃciently, packing delivery orders accurately, maintaining outlet
cleanliness, and maximizing sales through effective upselling.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
●
Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
●
Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
●
Recommend menu items and upsell dishes, beverages, and add-ons to increase sales.
●
Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
●
Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Order Management
●
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of orders.
●
Pack takeaway and delivery orders accurately according to company standards.
●
Verify orders before dispatch to minimize errors.
●
Manage food delivery platform orders eﬃciently.
Outlet Operations
●
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, dining area, and service stations at all
times.
●
Ensure proper presentation of the outlet and menu displays.
●
Monitor stock levels of packaging materials, beverages, and front-of-house supplies.
●
Assist in receiving and organizing inventory when required.
Food Service
●
Serve food court customers promptly and professionally.
●
Ensure food is presented and handed over according to brand standards.
●
Handle customer feedback and complaints courteously and escalate issues when
necessary.
Cash Handling & Administration
●
Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
●
Maintain proper cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation.
●
Follow company SOPs and food safety guidelines.
Requirements
●
Previous experience in a restaurant, café, food court, or customer service environment
preferred.
●
Strong communication skills and a friendly personality.
●
Good command of spoken English.
●
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
●
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
●
Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
●
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
●
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
