Job Details
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and genuinely animal-loving Dog Trainer to join our household in Dubai.
This is a LIVE-IN position, so we are looking for someone who truly enjoys being around dogs and treats their care and wellbeing as a priority.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years professional dog-training experience
* MUST genuinely love animals — if you do not have a real passion for dogs and animals, please do not apply
* Strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language and psychology
* Experienced in obedience training and behaviour modification
* Able to handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments
* Confident handling large and strong dogs
* Knowledge of positive reinforcement and appropriate training techniques
* Able to recognise signs of fear, stress, anxiety, aggression and discomfort
* Extremely patient, calm and gentle with dogs
* Must never use unnecessary force, intimidation or mistreatment
* Able to establish routines and maintain consistency with training
* Responsible for helping maintain the dogs’ exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation
* Able to work professionally with other trainers/household staff
* Responsible, trustworthy, clean and organised
* Good communication skills
* Must be willing to live in the household
* References from previous employers are strongly preferred
Salary: Starting from AED 1,500 per month, with the opportunity for the salary to increase over time based on performance, experience, reliability and commitment.
We are not simply looking for someone who knows how to give commands to a dog. We want someone who understands dogs, respects them, has patience with them and genuinely loves working with animals.
