Job Details
SGMG is seeking an experienced Podcast Production Manager to lead the end-to-end production of our owned & client podcast slate across our Al Quoz studio facility. This role owns the studio schedule, the production workflow & the quality of everything that leaves the building.
You will manage shoot days, guests, crew & post-production delivery, while helping commercialise the studios through client hire & branded content. This is a senior hands-on role for someone who can both run a floor & build the systems behind it.
Ideally, you will also build & lead your own production team over time. This is desirable rather than essential, as recruitment can be led from within the business where needed.
Production Management
• Own the end-to-end production pipeline from pre-production through to publish.
• Manage the recording schedule across all four studios & the wider venue.
• Run pre-production: briefs, run sheets, research packs, guest questions & call sheets.
• Direct & manage shoot days, ensuring sessions run to time & to brief.
• Maintain production trackers, episode pipelines & publishing calendars.
• Troubleshoot technical & scheduling issues on the day without disrupting delivery.
Team Building & Leadership (Desirable)
• Build & manage a reliable roster of freelance presenters, editors & operators.
• Identify, recruit & onboard production talent as the slate grows.
• Set clear roles, standards & ways of working across the production team.
• Brief, develop & performance-manage crew to maintain output quality.
• Shape the long-term structure of the production department alongside leadership.
This element of the role is desirable rather than essential. Recruitment & team build-out can be supported directly by the Founder & CEO where required.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of podcast, video or broadcast production experience.
• Proven track record managing multiple productions & deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong working knowledge of studio audio & video equipment & workflows.
• Experience managing crew, freelancers & post-production teams.
• A strong creative eye, with the ability to review & sign off edits, audio & assets to a high standard. Hands-on editing skills are not required.
• Excellent organisational & communication skills, with a calm approach under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: AED 15,000 – 25,000 per month (dependent on experience).
• Performance bonus linked to output & studio utilisation.
• UAE employment visa & medical insurance.
• Annual leave & flight allowance in line with UAE Labour Law.
• Progression path towards Head of Production as the business scales.
