Job Details

We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, production planning, manpower utilization and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Production Manager in planning and executing daily production schedules.
* Monitor production output, productivity, quality, downtime and material usage.
* Coordinate manpower, machines and materials to achieve production targets.
* Monitor daily production performance and identify delays, losses and bottlenecks.
* Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
* Ensure compliance with production procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements.
* Support process improvement, waste reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
* Maintain production records and prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
* Monitor shift performance and ensure effective manpower utilization.
* Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
* 4–7 years of relevant production/manufacturing experience.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
* Experience in production planning, manpower management and shop-floor operations.
* Good knowledge of production KPIs, productivity, efficiency, wastage and downtime analysis.
* Strong MS Excel and reporting skills; ERP experience will be an advantage.
* Good leadership, problem-solving and coordination skills.
* Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other relevant production certification will be an advantage.
