Job Details

A company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Controller to support accurate stock management and smooth warehouse operations. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, maintaining records, coordinating stock movements, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
Track incoming, outgoing, transferred, and returned items.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or excesses.
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams regarding stock movement.
Prepare inventory reports and update stock records regularly.
Assist with stock audits and periodic inventory checks.
Ensure items are properly labeled, stored, and recorded.
Follow company procedures for inventory control, storage, and handling.
Monitor slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete stock.
Support efficient warehouse organization and space utilization.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management is an advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory procedures and stock reconciliation.
Basic to good computer skills, particularly MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with different teams.
Candidates with relevant training or freshers with suitable knowledge may also be considered.
