Job Details
We are seeking an accurate and methodical Inventory Clerk to maintain reliable stock records and make sure that what the system says is on the shelf is actually there. Reporting to the Inventory Controller, Warehouse Supervisor, or Store Manager, the successful candidate will track stock movements, carry out counts, and investigate differences so that purchasing, sales, and finance can trust the numbers.
The core of the role is stock recording and system accuracy. The Inventory Clerk records receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments in the inventory or ERP system promptly and correctly, matches movements against delivery notes, requisitions, and transfer documents, and keeps item codes, descriptions, units of measure, and location records clean and consistent. Entries are made on the day the movement happens, since stock records that lag behind the physical flow quickly become unreliable.
