Ajman, UAE | Full-Time | Immediate Start
About the Role
We are a multi-site retail and logistics operation in Ajman is hiring an experienced technician to fully own our CCTV surveillance and network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role covering installation, configuration, active monitoring, and day-to-day system health across all sites.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras across multiple sites (Hikvision / NVR systems)
Set up and maintain network infrastructure — routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points
Configure remote access via port forwarding, DDNS, and VPN
Actively monitor live and recorded footage to detect theft, suspicious activity, and security breaches
Verify cameras remain in correct positions and have not been moved, tampered with, or obstructed
Maintain system security — firmware updates, credential hygiene, unauthorized access checks
Troubleshoot connectivity issues across all sites
Report incidents promptly to management
Requirements
Proven experience installing and configuring CCTV systems (Hikvision preferred)
Solid networking skills: routers, switches, access points, LAN/WAN
Working knowledge of IP addressing, port forwarding, DDNS, and VPN
Able to physically install cameras, run cable, and mount hardware
Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet — access to sensitive systems required
