We are seeking a technically skilled and reliable Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, available, and performing as expected. Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the servers, networks, and systems that the business depends on to operate every day.
The core of the role is infrastructure management. The Systems Administrator installs, configures, and maintains servers, operating systems, and network equipment, monitors system performance and capacity, and ensures uptime targets are met across critical business systems. Patching, updates, and version control are managed on a disciplined schedule rather than deferred until a problem forces the issue.
