# CNC Laser Programmer / Operator & Metal Fabricator

**Location:** Abu Dhabi – Al Mafraq Industrial Area

PrimeGate Metal Works is seeking an experienced **CNC Laser Programmer / Operator & Metal Fabricator** with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication.

**Please apply ONLY if you have experience in CNC laser cutting machines and sheet metal fabrication.**

Applications from CNC milling, CNC turning, woodworking CNC operators, machine operators, general helpers, or candidates without relevant experience will **not** be considered.

## Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings for production.
* Convert drawings into DXF files for CNC laser cutting.
* Prepare nesting layouts to maximize material utilization.
* Generate CNC cutting programs.
* Set up and operate the CNC Laser Cutting Machine.
* Select appropriate cutting parameters for Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
* Perform routine machine inspection and basic maintenance.
* Read and interpret fabrication and shop drawings.
* Fabricate and assemble metal products according to approved drawings.
* Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drilling machines and hand tools.
* Assist in press brake operations when required.
* Ensure finished products meet PrimeGate quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

## Mandatory Requirements

* Minimum **3 years' experience** operating CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
* Minimum **3 years' experience** in sheet metal fabrication.
* Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Ability to prepare DXF files for laser cutting.
* Experience preparing nesting layouts and CNC programs.
* Ability to read fabrication drawings.
* Experience working with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
* Experience in architectural and decorative metal works is highly preferred.
* Currently residing in the UAE.

## Preferred Skills

* Experience operating a Press Brake.
* TIG and/or MIG welding experience.
* Site installation experience is an advantage.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
