Job Details
An HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Install HVAC systems, ductwork, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of AC units and ventilation systems.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment.
Repair compressors, motors, thermostats, control panels, and related components.
Check refrigerant levels and perform gas charging/recovery as required.
Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Clean air filters, ducts, coils, and diffusers.
Ensure proper functioning of chillers, package units, split ACs, AHUs, and FCUs.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports.
Follow safety procedures and comply with company and site regulations.
Skills & Requirements
Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and refrigeration cycles.
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC and electrical issues.
Familiarity with tools, gauges, and testing instruments.
Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
Minimum 2–5 years of HVAC maintenance or installation experience.
Knowledge of local safety standards and regulations.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred for field technicians).
