Job Details
Material Evaluation & Specification: Selecting and testing materials for fire resistance, ensuring compliance with UL, BS, or EN standards.
Passive Fire Estimation: Preparing cost estimates and technical submittals for fire-rated doors, glazing, and sealing materials.
Compliance & Approval: Liaising with local civil defense authorities and consultants to ensure design compliance with fire codes.
Design & Installation Support: Reviewing shop drawings and overseeing installation to maintain fire compartmentation.
Experience: 3-5+ years in the construction industry, with specific focus on fire-rated systems.
Knowledge: Expertise in NFPA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and passive fire protection.
