The Assistant Technical / Quality Engineer supports the technical team in ensuring that products or services meet established standards. The role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting processes to maintain quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. The position requires attention to detail, technical understanding, and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Quality Engineer in daily quality inspection and control activities.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of fasteners, materials, and components.
• Perform drilling and testing of screws to verify performance and quality compliance.
• Inspect and verify material specifications, coatings as per applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain Material Test Certificates (MTCs) in compliance with standard requirements.
• Ensure traceability and documentation of inspected materials.
• Prepare reports and documentation using MS Office tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD files.
• Able to install, troubleshoot and repair welding machines when required, with a strong understanding of electrical circuits and machine operation.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned to him by the supervisors.
