Junior Quantity Surveyor - Civil
Job Summary
The role involves assisting in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, contract administration, and ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Support in cost estimation and budgeting for civil works.
• Prepare and track Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assist in tender documentation and bid evaluation.
• Monitor project costs and help identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare interim valuations and payment applications.
• Assist in evaluating variations and claims.
• Maintain records of project costs, contracts, and progress.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and UAE construction standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 0–2 years of experience (UAE experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
• Familiarity with BOQ preparation and measurement methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity take-off software
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
