Civil/Structural Engineer – Concrete Swimming Pools & Renovations
Dubai, UAE
INOMA Living & Landscaping is hiring an experienced engineer to join our team, covering concrete swimming pool construction, concrete structural work, and indoor renovation projects across Dubai.
Responsibilities
• Design and oversee construction of concrete swimming pool shells, including reinforcement detailing, waterproofing coordination, and drainage/backwash routing
• Prepare and review structural drawings and calculations for pool and concrete structure approvals (Dubai Municipality, DDA, or community-specific submissions)
• Manage structural aspects of indoor renovation projects, including load assessments and concrete modifications
• Liaise with contractors, pool equipment suppliers, and approval authorities to ensure compliance
• Conduct site inspections and supervise quality of concrete and structural works
• Coordinate with landscaping and MEP teams on integrated project delivery
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• UAE experience in concrete swimming pool construction and structural works preferred — all experience levels considered, from junior engineers with relevant exposure to senior engineers with a strong track record
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality/DDA approval processes for pools and structures
• Experience with RCC design, waterproofing systems, and renovation/retrofit projects
• Valid UAE driving license preferred
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic a plus
