Job Details
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and hardworking Light Van Driver to join our busy laundry team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of laundry items, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the company vehicle in top condition.
Key Responsibilities
Collection & Delivery: Safely transport laundry items between the facility and various residential/commercial locations across Dubai.
Route Planning: Efficiently navigate routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the van, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Documentation: Handle delivery notes, verify item counts, and manage cash/card payments from clients when necessary.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional and polite attitude when interacting with customers.
Requirements
Valid UAE Driving License: Must hold a valid UAE driving license for a light vehicle.
Experience: Proven experience as a driver in Dubai (laundry or delivery experience is a major plus).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Dubai roads and areas.
Communication: Good command of English (additional languages like Hindi/Urdu are beneficial).
Character: Punctual, honest, and physically fit to handle laundry bags/baskets.
