JB Allo is a drainage and sewage cleaning maintenance company looking for 5 Heavy Truck Drivers who can do the following responsibilities

Heavy Truck Driver – Duties and Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

* Operate the assigned truck safely and responsibly.
* Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, company procedures, and safety standards applicable to heavy-truck operations.
* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical defects, damage, or potential safety hazards.
* Plan efficient routes while considering traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely arrival at each worksite.
* Perform basic routine tasks, including refuelling and keeping the truck clean.
* Immediately report any vehicle defect, breakdown, accident, traffic violation, or safety-related incident.
* Follow all safety procedures, including wearing a seat belt, using the required personal protective equipment, and complying with company policies.

Additional Responsibilities

* The driver will normally be assigned to a specific heavy truck but may be required to operate another heavy truck according to the work schedule and operational requirements.
* Transport and discharge waste at an authorised third-party waste facility, when required.
* Assist with trailer cleaning when available.
* Assist with cleaning and maintaining the parking area when available.
* Support teammates during scheduled operations and site work.
* Arrange for truck washing and the required vehicle inspection or passing procedures.
* Transport trucks to and from the garage for servicing or repairs when required.
* Perform any other reasonable duties related to company operations, subject to availability and operational needs.
