MNZ Tailors (International City) is hiring a highly experienced Pattern Master to take full charge of our pattern drafting, grading, and cutting specifications. We are looking for a technical specialist who focuses purely on precise pattern creation, marker efficiency, and structural garment accuracy for both custom and bulk apparel.
Key Responsibilities
Pattern Drafting & Development: Draft precise base paper, card, or digital patterns from design sketches, tech packs, or physical samples.
Pattern Grading & Sizing: Scale and grade patterns across standard and custom measurement sets accurately.
Marker Planning & Precision Cutting: Execute optimized fabric layouts to ensure maximum yield and minimal fabric waste before passing to the stitching team.
Technical Fitting Adjustments: Analyze fit issues during trial fittings and make accurate technical modifications to the master patterns.
Technical Specifications: Provide clear assembly notes and structural measurements to the production team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5–10+ years of dedicated experience exclusively as a Pattern Master / Pattern Maker in apparel manufacturing or high-end tailoring.
Technical Skills: Mastery of manual pattern drafting, flat pattern making, draping, and pattern grading (digital/CAD experience is a bonus).
Fabric Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabric stretch, shrinkage, drape, grainlines, and structural behavior.
Location: Based in or able to commute daily to International City, Dubai.
