Job Title: Shawarma Chef / Kitchen Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Shawarma Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with shawarma or in a fast-paced food environment, and will be capable of taking full responsibility for daily kitchen and operational activities.
This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards in food preparation, hygiene, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, shave, cook, and monitor shawarma meat to ensure quality and consistency
Wrap shawarmas efficiently and present them to a high standard
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
Manage and supervise staff, ensuring productivity and teamwork
Handle basic bookkeeping and daily sales tracking
Create and manage staff rosters
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the kitchen and workspace
Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer interactions professionally
Operate cash handling and POS systems accurately
Complete daily food preparation and stock management
Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Train new and existing staff members
Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment
Demonstrate reliability, honesty, and accountability in all tasks
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in shawarma preparation or similar food service role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities independently
Good communication and team management abilities
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
