Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Officer to join our team within the Heavy Equipment, Construction, and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized university degree, a valid NEBOSH IGC qualification, and possess hands-on expertise in preparing MSRAs, site monitoring, and leading incident investigations across active site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• MSRA Preparation & Review: Prepare, review, and evaluate Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) before work execution to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
• Accident & Incident Investigation: Lead comprehensive accident and incident investigations, execute root cause analysis (RCA), and draft detailed investigation reports with clear corrective action plans.
• HSE Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE performance reports, site observation logs, inspection records, and key safety metrics for management review.
• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct routine site safety audits, hazard evaluations, and ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards and corporate safety policies.
• Training & Inductions: Conduct mandatory site HSE inductions, daily Toolbox Talks (TBT), and workforce safety briefings across site teams.
• Emergency Preparedness: Implement site emergency response procedures, coordinate routine safety drills, and monitor the readiness of site emergency and first-aid facilities.
Candidate Requirements
• Certifications: NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) is mandatory.
• Education: Graduate Degree (Bachelor's in Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on HSE experience within the Heavy Equipment, Construction, or Industrial sectors in the UAE or GCC region.
• Language Proficiency:
o English: Excellent written and spoken communication is mandatory.
o Hindi: Spoken fluency is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced competency in safety documentation, detailed report writing, MS Office, and heavy plant/site risk management.
