Job Details
• Assist the Quality Engineer in daily quality inspection and control activities.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of fasteners, materials, and components.
• Perform drilling and testing of screws to verify performance and quality compliance.
• Inspect and verify material specifications, coatings as per applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain Material Test Certificates (MTCs) in compliance with standard requirements.
• Ensure traceability and documentation of inspected materials.
• Prepare reports and documentation using MS Office tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD files.
• Able to install, troubleshoot and repair welding machines when required, with a strong understanding of electrical circuits and machine operation.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned to him by the supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, materials, coatings, corrosion, and mechanical inspection methods.
• Familiarity with fasteners and related testing procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• Ability to prepare MTCs and maintain inspection documentation.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and measuring instruments (e.g., vernier callipers, micrometres and Elcometer).
• Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse and production environment.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in quality improvement processes.
