Job Details
-Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to specific zones on the jobsite.
-Equipment Inspection: Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections, top off fluids, and report mechanical defects to the site supervisor.
-Jobsite Navigation: Safely maneuver the forklift through uneven, muddy, or debris-filled construction terrain while avoiding other workers and heavy machinery.
-Load Securing. Ensure loads are properly centered, balanced, and strapped down before lifting or moving at elevated heights.
-Inventory Control. Verify incoming shipments, track supply usage, safely stack materials in designated, stable storage areas.
-Safety Knowledge. Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
-Physical & Spatial Skills: Excellent depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and the physical ability to climb onto equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
