Job Details

Responsibilities:

* Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents
* Prepare and review BOQ, cost estimates and material quantities
* Evaluate subcontractor quotations and payment claims
* Prepare interim payment applications and supporting documents
* Track project costs, materials, manpower, equipment and subcontractor expenses
* Prepare variation claims and follow up with consultants/client
* Support the project team with cost control and commercial reporting
* Coordinate with site engineers, procurement and accounts team
* Maintain proper records for measurements, invoices, quotations and approvals

Requirements:

* Minimum 3-5 years experience as Quantity Surveyor / Estimator in UAE construction market
* Experience in building construction projects is required
* Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, variations and subcontractor payments
* Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings
* Good knowledge of Excel is required
* AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
* UAE experience is preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying preferred
* Candidate must be currently available in UAE
