Job Details
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in construction supervision, site inspections, quality control, and project coordination, with strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and engineering consultancy procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable building regulations.
* Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of civil and structural works.
* Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved designs, project requirements, and relevant UAE authority standards.
* Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
* Monitor construction progress and report any delays, discrepancies, or technical issues to the Project Manager or Resident Engineer.
* Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
* Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractors to resolve construction-related issues.
* Coordinate with relevant authorities for inspections and approvals when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
* years of relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision, preferably within UAE engineering consultancy firms.
* Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE building codes, and construction standards.
* Familiarity with structural, architectural, and civil construction drawings
* Ability to manage multiple site activities and work effectively under pressure.
* UAE driving licence is an advantage.
