Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules and work programs.
- Prepare and update baseline schedules and monitor project progress.
- Track planned vs. actual progress and identify delays or potential schedule issues.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and actual expenditures.
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash-flow projections, and cost reports.
- Track variations, additional works, subcontractor costs, and project expenses.
- Analyze cost variances and identify potential cost overruns.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, purchase orders, and commitments.
- Provide planning and cost-control reports to management.
- Support project management in implementing effective cost-control measures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Up to 10 years of relevant construction planning and cost-control experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and cost management.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
- UAE construction experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
