We are seeking an experienced and organised Assistant Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in managing the department and maintaining the property's cleanliness and presentation standards. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the successful candidate will oversee daily operations across housekeeping, laundry, and public areas, and step in fully in the Executive Housekeeper's absence.
The core of the role is operational oversight. The Assistant Housekeeper monitors daily room servicing and public area cleaning to ensure targets are met and standards are consistent across all floors and shifts, reviews inspection reports from supervisors, and follows up on any recurring issue or shortfall. Room status updates are cross-checked against the property management system to ensure the front desk always has accurate, timely information for allocation.
