The Nail Technician / Manicurist is responsible for delivering exceptional manicure, pedicure, and hand and foot grooming services to clients in a prestigious luxury men's salon. The role requires the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, discretion, and customer care to ensure every client enjoys a premium grooming experience that reflects the salon's luxury brand and service excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform professional luxury manicure and pedicure services for clients while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
2. Provide hand and foot grooming treatments, including nail trimming, shaping, cuticle care, buffing, exfoliation, moisturizing, and therapeutic massage.
3. Apply nail strengthening and restorative treatments as appropriate for male clientele.
4. Recommend suitable nail care products and maintenance routines based on the client's needs.
5. Deliver personalized service while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality.
6. Ensure all tools, equipment, chairs, foot spas, and workstations are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized before and after every service in accordance with UAE health and safety regulations.
7. Maintain a clean, elegant, and welcoming treatment area that reflects the standards of a luxury men's salon.
8. Prepare treatment stations before each appointment and ensure all products and supplies are readily available.
9. Provide clients with a relaxing, comfortable, and premium salon experience throughout each appointment.
10. Build strong client relationships through outstanding customer service, professionalism, and attention to individual preferences.
11. Handle client inquiries and concerns courteously and promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
12. Promote premium grooming treatments, retail products, and membership packages without using high-pressure sales techniques.
13. Monitor inventory levels of nail care products and report shortages or damaged items to management.
14. Assist in maintaining the salon's luxury presentation, cleanliness, and overall ambience.
15. Keep updated with the latest luxury grooming trends, nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and product knowledge through continuous professional development.
16. Adhere to all company policies, operational procedures, grooming standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional code of conduct.
17. Work collaboratively with barbers, hairstylists, therapists, and reception staff to provide a seamless luxury client experience.
18. Protect client privacy and maintain complete confidentiality regarding all client information and services.
19. Comply with all applicable UAE labour regulations, health and safety requirements, and municipal licensing standards.
20. Perform any other duties assigned by management that support the salon's operations and commitment to exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Nail Technology, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nail Technician or Manicurist, preferably in a luxury salon, premium spa, or five-star hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of manicure, pedicure, hand and foot treatments, nail care products, sanitation procedures, and luxury customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
