AutoDome AE is a leading specialist in commercial vehicle diagnostics, ECU programming, electronic repairs, and advanced automotive solutions. We are looking for a skilled ECU Repair Technician to join our growing technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair automotive ECUs at component level.
Repair engine ECUs, transmission ECUs, BCMs, ABS modules, instrument clusters, and other electronic control units.
Perform ECU cloning, programming, coding, adaptation, and immobilizer-related work.
Troubleshoot CAN Bus communication and vehicle electrical systems.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Test repaired ECUs using professional diagnostic equipment.
Maintain accurate repair records and technical documentation.
Support the workshop with advanced electronic diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Diploma or ITI in Automotive Technology, Automotive Electrical & Electronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
IPC certification (IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001) is required.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive ECU repair.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electronics and PCB component-level repair.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering, hot-air rework, and BGA rework stations.
Experience with ECU programming and diagnostic tools such as Flex, Magic Motorsport, Engine Dance, ECULite, Autotuner, KTAG, KESS, or similar.
Good understanding of CAN Bus, LIN Bus, and vehicle communication protocols.
Experience with commercial vehicles, trucks, agricultural machinery, or heavy equipment is highly preferred.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electronic faults independently
