Meyers Advisory FZE is looking for a Tax & Advisory Assistant (Remote) to support our General Manager and advisory team.
This is one remote position with a mix of tax, finance administration and executive support. Depending on experience, the role can fit a junior candidate with solid accounting/tax basics or a more experienced tax assistant who can work independently.
The role is generally remote. You will work from home with your own laptop and communicate with the team and clients mainly online. Interviews will be conducted in English via Google Meet.
Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager directly with daily coordination, follow-ups and structured preparation of client matters
- Prepare and maintain client files, summaries, task lists and deadline tracking
- Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax matters, including basic reviews, documentation and follow-up with clients
- Support finance administration, bookkeeping coordination and document control
- Communicate professionally in English with clients, colleagues and external parties
- Work carefully, discreetly and reliably in a remote environment
Requirements:
- Accounting, finance, tax or business administration background
- Practical experience or strong basic knowledge in UAE VAT and/or Corporate Tax is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English is required
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and document handling skills
- Reliable internet connection, own laptop and ability to work independently from home
- Structured, discreet and detail-oriented working style
- Comfortable supporting the General Manager directly
