# Accountant – Dream Night Department Store LLC

**Dream Night Department Store LLC** is looking for an **experienced Accountant** with **4–5 years of relevant experience** to join our team.

### Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy and proper accounting records.
* Maintain and reconcile **petty cash, bank accounts, employee balances, accounts receivable, and accounts payable**.
* Prepare and file **input and output VAT reports**, including quarterly VAT returns, in compliance with UAE tax regulations.
* Verify and process **accounts payable invoices and payments**, ensuring expenses are correctly recorded under the appropriate accounts.
* Process **WPS and non-WPS payroll**, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments.
* Issue, monitor, and maintain proper records of **Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs)**.
* Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documents for **year-end audits**.
* Assist management with **budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting**.
* Prepare regular financial reports and provide accurate accounting information to management.
* Perform **bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations**.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain proper supporting documentation.
* Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and up to date.
* Report financial matters, accounting issues, cash flow, payables, receivables, and other accounting activities to management.

### Requirements

* **4–5 years of relevant accounting experience**, preferably in a **hypermarket, supermarket, or retail environment**.
* Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT and accounting practices**.
* Experience in **WPS and payroll processing**.
* Strong knowledge of **accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and general accounting**.
* Experience working with **external auditors and year-end audit processes**.
* Good knowledge of **MS Excel and accounting software**.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and provide accurate reports to management.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
