Assistant Finance Officer cum Admin Support (Dubai – DAFZA)
We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our team in Dubai (DAFZA). This role combines finance, accounting support, and administrative coordination, working closely with an external accounting firm for technical accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
The ideal candidate should be organized, hands-on, and able to support both finance operations and general office administration, including communication with vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders. Chinese-speaking ability is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily finance tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and basic reporting
- Coordinate with external accounting firm for VAT, Corporate Tax, and compliance matters
- Manage DAFZAway portal for filings, renewals, and submissions
- Handle general office administration including vendors, contracts, and documentation
- Liaise with banks, service providers, and authorities when required
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered)
- Must be able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese preferred)
- Familiarity with UAE Free Zone systems (DAFZAway) is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is an advantage
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
