Job Details
We are looking for an Accounting assistant to support our daily accounting, payment follow-up, and other work. The ideal candidate should be responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle accounts-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily payments collected by sales staff into the company system accurately.
Handle cash and cheque deposits to the bank and keep proper deposit records.
Follow up customer statements, account reconciliation, outstanding balances, and accounts receivable for each salesperson.
Coordinate with sales staff regarding customer payments, invoices, receipts, and collection status.
Support management with other works.
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts is preferred.
Basic accounting knowledge and good understanding of payment records, customer statements, and receivables.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems.
Good communication skills and ability to follow up with sales staff and customers.
Responsible, honest, organized, and attentive to details.
Experience in trading, wholesale, building materials, or similar industries is an advantage.
Valid UAE driving license is required.
Must be able to visit banks, government offices, warehouses, and other locations when required.
UAE experience is preferred.
