Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical skills, and the ability to handle daily financial transactions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents

Handle data entry for accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and customer accounts

Assist in preparing monthly financial reports

Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances

Maintain filing systems for financial documents

Support VAT documentation and accounting procedures

Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding payments and statements

Assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems

Good organizational and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance

Previous experience in accounting or administrative support is an advantage
