Job Details

Trek Bicycle Store UAE is looking for an Account Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, good organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Assistant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting across the group’s businesses, helping to keep records accurate, timely, and organised.

Day-to-day responsibilities include processing supplier invoices and payments, recording customer receipts, reconciling bank and supplier statements, maintaining accurate filing and documentation, and supporting VAT records and month-end close. The role also involves answering finance queries from internal teams and suppliers, and working closely with the wider finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Verify supplier invoices and assist with payment processing.
• Perform bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
• Assist with month-end closing and the preparation of financial reports.
• Support the finance team with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
