Job Title: Junior Accountant – Data Entry & Documentation
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 2,500–2,800 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support the Finance Department, mainly in accounting data entry, document management, and routine accounting activities. The candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, organizing supporting documents, and assisting with daily accounting operations.

Experience with Zoho Books or Zoho Accounting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:-
Perform daily accounting data entry, including supplier invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
Enter and maintain financial transactions in Zoho Books or other accounting software.
Organize and maintain invoices, LPOs, purchase orders, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
Verify supporting documents before entering transactions into the accounting system.
Maintain systematic digital and physical filing of accounting records.
Update supplier records, payment trackers, expense schedules, and other accounting registers.
Assist with bank transaction entries, bank reconciliation, and petty cash records.
Coordinate with project teams and other departments to collect missing invoices and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing documents for VAT compliance, monthly closing, and audit requirements.
Ensure all transactions and documents are recorded accurately and on time.
Perform other accounting and documentation duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant experience.
Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of accounting entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Good data-entry speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
UAE experience is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in a construction company or project-based business is an advantage.
Familiarity with LPOs, supplier invoices, project expenses, and payment documentation.
Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established accounting procedures.
Willingness to learn and support the Finance Department's daily operations.
Salary Package: AED 2,500–2,800 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
