Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant & Reverse Charge Specialist to join our growing accounting and financial services team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of general accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial transactions, reverse accounting, reverse charge mechanisms, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & Bookkeeping
* Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
* Prepare journal entries, general ledgers, and trial balances.
* Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Prepare financial statements and accounting reports.
Reverse Accounting
* Reconstruct accounting records from bank statements, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
* Analyze and classify financial transactions.
* Identify missing entries, duplicate transactions, and discrepancies.
* Perform bank and account reconciliations.
* Reconcile incomplete or inconsistent financial records.
Reverse Charge Accounting
* Identify and process transactions subject to reverse charge mechanisms.
* Prepare reverse charge accounting entries and calculations.
* Verify the correct accounting treatment of applicable transactions.
* Reconcile relevant input and output tax accounts.
* Maintain accurate supporting documentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of general accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
* Understanding of debit and credit entries, journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge and experienced accountants are welcome to apply.
