About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting, financial controls, and reporting across our group of companies. In this role, you will lead group financial consolidation, tax strategy and compliance, internal audit, corporate financing, and working capital management, acting as a trusted financial advisor and strategic partner to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations & SOPs: Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and robust accounting policies for subsidiary teams and associate accountants.
Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Oversee group-wide financial consolidation, month-end/year-end closing, and the preparation of comprehensive management reports and financial statements.
Taxation & Compliance: Direct and ensure full compliance with UAE Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Tax laws, Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), and relevant local financial frameworks.
Internal Audit & Financial Controls: Establish internal audit procedures, risk management frameworks, and rigorous financial controls to safeguard company assets and maintain audit readiness.
Cash Flow & Corporate Financing: Manage liquidity, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, capital allocation, and debt/financing arrangements.
Stakeholder & Advisory Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banking partners, tax advisors, legal consultants, and internal cross-functional leaders.
Key Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years managing multi-entity/group accounting and financial consolidation.
Taxation Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
Audit & Control: Strong background in internal audit, governance, internal control implementation, and risk assessment.
Banking & Treasury: Proven track record in bank negotiations, credit facility management, and treasury management.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
Industry Focus: Previous experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution is highly desirable.
