I am writing to express my strong interest in joining your team as an NDT PCN UT and PAUT Technician. With over 4 years of experience working as an ANDT and NDT Technician across heavy engineering structural fabrication companies, shipyards, and turbine tower manufacturing, I have developed a robust background in piping, welding, and FPSO inspection.
I hold a PCN Level II certification (PCN Number: 357401) in both Ultrasonic Testing (3.1 & 3.2) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing. Furthermore, I am qualified as an ASNT Level 2 technician across multiple methods, including PAUT, UT, Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
Throughout my career, I have consistently executed advanced PAUT inspections on high-thickness weld joints and base materials. My recent project experience includes:
Serving as a PAUT Technician for A Star Testing & Inspection Services in Singapore, focusing on the UARU & P80 FPSO projects.
Working with MAG Integrity Resources on the KG D6 Ruby FPSO project.
Preparing detailed PAUT scan plans for complex geometrical joints, nozzles, and structural joints using NDT Setup Builder and ES Beam Tool software.
Performing in-depth analysis and data interpretation for the detection of internal flaws, lack of fusion, and corrosion using OmniPC software.
I am highly proficient in operating advanced NDT equipment, including Olympus OmniScan MX2, X3, and X4 machines, paired with various encoders and scanners. My field operations are always conducted in strict accordance with major industry standards, and I am deeply familiar with ASME Section V and VIII, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API 1104, and BS EN ISO codes (13588, 19285, 11666, and 17640).
In addition to my technical capabilities, I am dedicated to maintaining organized records, ensuring environmental and health safety compliance, and preparing comprehensive inspection reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
