I am an innovative, confident, and enthusiastic science teacher with over ten years of teaching experience and four years of middle leadership as a Science Lead and MAP Coordinator. My journey in education has been defined by a deep passion for creating engaging, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environments where every student can thrive.
During my tenure as Science Lead, I worked closely with my team to:
• Create a unique testing environment that improved MAP scores significantly, with almost zero rapid guessing.
• Ensure high-quality teaching and hands-on learning across all science lessons.
• Support teachers in developing effective, three-part lesson plans with clear learning objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning through lesson observations, planning reviews, and work scrutiny—offering constructive feedback to drive growth.
• Ensure differentiation by identifying and supporting students who were not making expected progress.
