Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for the position of General Accountant in your company.
I have extensive experience in accounting and finance in the UAE and India, including General
Trading, Manufacturing, FMCG, and Printing industries. I have strong knowledge of SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally Prime, acsys ERP, Counter Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel.
My key experience includes:
• General accounting and financial reporting
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Bank reconciliation and petty cash handling
• Sales and purchase invoices
• Purchase Orders, Sales Orders and Delivery Notes
• Journal entries and ledger maintenance
• Supplier reconciliation and payment follow-up
• P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
• Shipping invoices and export documentation
I hold a B.Com in Accounts and a Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA – Accounting). I am fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, and Malayalam.
I also hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle Automatic Driving License (No. 308630), which can be an additional advantage for accounting positions requiring local travel.
